How "God's Little Radio" get to who need it?
The Brazilian Ministry named “Ministério BOM DIA” (Good Morning Ministry) works to raise funds, buys, records, tests and sends the radios to volunteer missionary partners, who then distribute the radio’s to people in dozens of locations throughout Brazil and to who assist in making contact and delivery of the radio’s into the hands of those who can most benefit from having the Bible in audio format that they can personally access.
How does the little radio get into the hands of those who need it most?
To enable the “God’s Little Radio” project to increase in scale with excellence and effectiveness, the Good Morning Ministry works in the following stages:
1.) HOW TO MAKE CONTACT:
Find a missionary who already works in the local region, who is willing to become a volunteer partner and who comes in direct contact with individuals who can benefit directly.
2.) TRAINING:
Make sure that the volunteer loves sharing the gospel, is called to reaching people that can most benefit from hearing scripture and are able to personally show how the radio works to the individual.
3.) INITIAL PROJECT:
The GOOD MORNING Ministry sends five (5) radios to the volunteer missionary, asks for reports (photos, audio and video) of the distribution carried out and evaluates the impact of “God’s Little Radio” on the lives of the illiterate people who received them.
4.) CONTINUITY:
In order for the radios to reach the missionaries and get into the hands of the people who most need them, the GOOD MORNING Ministry aids in raising funds and preparing the radio’s.
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
